Starman's mission accomplished at last with Musk sending Bowie to the stars

The Falcon Heavy test flight contains a Tesla Roadster designed to float in space for a billion years, playing David Bowie’s “Space Oddity”.

The famous song about a fictional astronaut Major Tom was released on 11 July 1969 during the period of great interest in space exploration.

The United States' Apollo 11 mission would launch soon and would become the first crew to accomplish a manned moon landing. The lyrics have also been seen to lampoon the British space programme.

The aliens’ first exposure to Earth culture will be one of the most iconic rock stars the third rock from the Sun has ever produced, so maybe they won’t be coming down on us with lasers blasting, all thanks to Elon Musk.
