Football is the world’s most-played sports. Simple in its major rules and basic equipment, the game can be played practically anywhere, from pro-playing fields to streets, playgrounds, parks or beaches.

Modern football game originated in Britain in the 19th century. The Football Association Challenge Cup is one of the oldest football competitions in the world, though “folk football” games had been played in towns and villages even before the medieval times.
