Hua Yanjun

Hua Yanjun, also known as Abing, became one of the emblematic figures of Chinese instrumental memory. The blind musician from China played erhu and pipa, leaving a small recorded legacy that carried enormous cultural weight. Erquan Yingyue remains his most famous piece, joining street performance, lament, and classicalized folk expression.
