Grupo Niche

Grupo Niche became one of the central bands in Colombian salsa. Founded in Colombia by Jairo Varela, the group built a sound around brass, percussion, chorus, dance rhythm, and songs of city identity and romance. Recordings such as Cali Pachanguero, Una aventura, and Gotas de lluvia helped make Colombian salsa visible across Latin America.
