Carole King, an American singer-songwriter, is renowned for her significant contributions to the pop, soft rock, soul, and Brill Building genres. Carole King achieved major success in the 1960s as a staff songwriter, collaborating with her first husband, Gerry Goffin, to write numerous chart hits.
