Gerry Goffin

Gerry Goffin helped define the craft of American pop songwriting in the Brill Building era. Working from the USA, he wrote lyrics for songs with Carole King and others, including Will You Love Me Tomorrow, The Loco-Motion, and Up on the Roof. His writing brought conversational emotion and teenage drama into concise popular-song form.
