Ariel Ramírez

Ariel Ramírez was an Argentine composer and pianist whose work joined folk materials, choral writing, and concert form. He became internationally known for Misa Criolla and for songs such as Alfonsina y el Mar, written with Félix Luna and closely associated with Mercedes Sosa.
