Andrea Coen is an Italian harpsichordist, musicologist, and pedagogue, born on November 22, 1960, in Rome. Coen graduated from La Sapienza University in Rome with a degree in musicology, with a dissertation on the unpublished keyboard works of Domenico Cimarosa, and from the Royal College of Music in London in harpsichord. After dedicating himself to the Renaissance, Baroque, and Classical performance techniques, Coen started an intense concert career in Italy, Europe, Japan, and US as a soloist and in various chamber and vocal ensembles.
