Buckingham Nicks was the only studio album by the duo Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks, released in September 1973. Before the album, they performed in the Fritz Rabyne Memorial Band opening for famous rock bands. They then recorded demo tapes and moved to Los Angeles to pursue a record deal. Nicks worked several jobs while Buckingham focused on guitar techniques. They met producer Keith Olsen and casual entrepreneurs Ted Feigin and Lee Lasseff. The latter secured a distribution deal with Polydor. The album failed commercially and has yet to be digitally re-released. The duo later joined Fleetwood Mac. Notable pieces include Frozen Love and Long Distance Winner.
