Damon Albarn is an English-Icelandic musician, singer, songwriter, and composer. Known as the frontman of the rock band Blur and the co-creator of Gorillaz, Albarn has made significant contributions to alternative rock, electronica, and pop music. He formed Blur in the late 1980s and achieved success with albums like Parklife and Blur. In 1998, Albarn created Gorillaz, a virtual band that gained worldwide success. He has also been involved in other projects including the Good, the Bad & the Queen and Rocket Juice & the Moon.
