Alan Parsons is an English audio engineer, songwriter, musician, and record producer who was born on 20 December 1948 in Willesden, London. He has worked on notable albums, including The Beatles' Abbey Road, Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon, and the eponymous debut album by Ambrosia. Parsons's own group, the Alan Parsons Project, as well as his subsequent solo recordings, have also been commercially successful. Parsons has been nominated for 13 Grammy Awards, and he won his first Grammy Award in 2019 for Best Immersive Audio Album for Eye in the Sky (35th Anniversary Edition).
