Bear McCreary

Bear McCreary is an American musician and composer born on February 17, 1979 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He is best known for his film, television, and video game scores. He is a classically trained pianist and self-taught accordionist who studied at the USC Thornton School of Music under the renowned film score composer Elmer Bernstein. McCreary has composed music for many television series including Battlestar Galactica, Human Target, Black Sails, Outlander, The Walking Dead, and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. He has also composed music for several video games including Call of Duty: Vanguard, God of War, and Godzilla: King of the Monsters. McCreary has been nominated for and won several Emmy and British Academy Games Awards for his works.
