Bill Wyman was the bassist for the Rolling Stones from 1962 to 1993 and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the band. He has recorded and toured with his own band—Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings—since 1997. Wyman is also a photographer and amateur archaeologist who enjoys metal detecting. He designed a patented metal detector and has found relics dating back to the Roman Empire in the English countryside.
