Agnetha Fältskog, born on April 5, 1950, in Jönköping, Sweden, is a pop singer, pianist, composer, lyricist, and music producer. Fältskog is one of the four members of ABBA, the most successful pop group in Swedish history. Before ABBA, she released several hits, including Jag var så kär, which became her first number-one hit. As a child, Fältskog received piano lessons and performed in church. At the age of 16, she joined Bernt Enghardt's orchestra, a Swedish dance band. Fältskog is known for her disco, euro pop, and schlager music. Some of her notable pieces include Doktorn! and Wrap Your Arms Around Me. Fältskog was married to Björn Ulvaeus from 1971 to 1979, and they have two children together. She later remarried and then divorced Tomas Sommerfeldt. She has made many successful albums and won several music awards, including six Rockbjörnen awards.
