Ian McDonald

Ian McDonald was a musician from England whose work with King Crimson helped define the sound of early progressive rock. He played woodwinds, keyboards, and Mellotron on In the Court of the Crimson King, giving the album part of its orchestral and unstable atmosphere. His tag also connects the first King Crimson lineup with the later rock world around Foreigner.
