Dave Bartholomew was an influential American musician, bandleader, composer, arranger, and record producer. Active from the 1930s to the 2010s, he made significant contributions to various genres including rhythm and blues, big band, swing, rock and roll, and Dixieland. Bartholomew is best known for his collaboration with Fats Domino writing over forty hits for Imperial Records in the 1950s. Notable works include Ain't That a Shame, I Hear You Knocking, and Blue Monday. His achievements include induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
