Johannes Brahms

Johannes Brahms was a German composer and pianist whose music extended Classical forms into the Romantic era. His major works include four symphonies, the German Requiem, Hungarian Dances, piano concertos, chamber music, and songs. Brahms combined dense motivic writing, lyric warmth, and a deep engagement with earlier composers such as Bach, Beethoven, and Schumann.
