Ustad Bahadur Khan was an Indian sarod player and film score composer born in 1931 in Shibpur, Brahmanbaria, Bangladesh. He came from a musical family, with his father being a classical musician and his uncle being the renowned Allauddin Khan. Khan also practiced vocal music and collaborated with his cousins Ali Akbar Khan and Shrimati Annapurna Devi. Khan's notable works include film scores for many films by Indian filmmaker Ritwik Ghatak. He was also a reputed teacher, with his students including his son Bidyut Khan, nephew Shahadat Hossain Khan, and sarod player Tejendranarayan Majumdar. Khan died in 1989.
